Bike Rental in Japan

Road Bike Rental is the best option we found for renting road bicycles and hybrid bikes while in Japan. They are professional and easy to work with! We had a group of 5 cyclists doing a week-long trip that included the Shimanami Kaido and riding in Kyushu after that. RBR set us up with the gear we needed including renting pannier bags for our bike tour, and also rinko bags which are necessary for bringing bikes onto the train. They were super communicative and helpful the entire way via WhatsApp. They even arranged a bike pick up at the end of our trip even though it meant the RBRJ owner had to get up super early in the morning to make it work. We rented 2 bikes to go from Tokyo to Kyoto and we had an amazing experience with Road Bike Rental. They took time to understand our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure the bike were properly delivered to our address in Tokyo, with the right add-ons to make our trip as comfortable as possible. And when we ended up having some troubles on the road near Kyoto – they helped us find some great alternatives so we could deliver the bikes safely to their location. 10/10 highly recommend.

I had an incredible experience renting a nice road bike from RBRJ! Gareth was super responsive to my inquiries and came all the way to Kyoto from Osaka to personally deliver my bike!! The bike came ready to go with lights and a spare tube. It ran great and he even suggested a beautiful route in the mountains. I highly recommend this place and look forward to using them again next time I visit Osaka or Kyoto.
